BUSCUIT-Girl was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas where dogs have just 3 dogs to be saved and transported to the rescue in Sebec, Maine BUSCUIT-Girl is spayed, core vaccines, rabies, heart-worm & tick disease tested negative, de-wormed, monthly preventatives and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 7 February 2019 and at the time of rescue in February 2020 weighed around 45 pounds. We have no way of knowing the exact breed, it is up to individuals to decide what breed they think is most likely.
BUSCUIT-Girl arrived at the rescue on Tuesday, 25th February and is such a larger tha life character. She was listed as a white GSD, however, she is definitely more husky looking with the smaller ears and smaller frame, of course no way of knowing, maybe a mix of both breeds. She likes to talk, as do both huskies and shepherds and when she is being ignored can be quite vocal - true to both breeds. She is young, highly active, intelligent and full of energy.
Buiscuit-Girl needs an active family, a family that understands the need of training and consistency, GSDs and huskies being intelligent have minds and opinions of their own and they need to know they are not in charge. She is a puppy still and so full of life, boistrousness, love and a longing to just run and play and cuddle.
All dogs use dog doors to go out and do their business or to enjoy the cool, fresh weather in their dog runs or communal areas. We cannot say if a dog is house-trained, however, we expect families to understand that all dogs need a transition period and accidents could happen and training is most definitely needed.
