.PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ ALL THE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO LEARN ALL ABOUT PRINCETON, HIS LOCATION AND ADOPTION OPTIONS.
ZARRA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, Heart-worm and tick disease tested negative, de-wormed and micro-chipped.She has an estimated date of birth of 15 June 2011 and a weight of around 60 pounds
Notes from foster family:
ZARRA knows some commands like sit, come inside, behave. She loves any kinds of food ( dry, canned, treats). Gets along with dogs and human. I have no idea about cats. She pulls a little on leash. Loves to ride in the car. She gives kisses and hugs and loves to be pet. She gets along with men very well, jumps on the couch and lays her head on husbands lap. She is very sweet and beautiful.
ZARRA is beautiful, high energy sable coloured girl. As noted by her foster family she knows basic commands, however, her family will need to work on re-establishing those commands with her and working on advanced obedience training with her. We encourage families to train dogs themselves as this not helps to establish boundaries and expectations, but allows both dogs and humans to learn each others personality and body language, thus creating a stronger understanding and bond.
ZARRA will need a family that understands not only the physical needs of a young dog, but also the mental stimulation that is required. Throwing a ball in the back yard is not enough for these dogs, they need to be challenged mentally to keep their brain active, which will ensure a happy dog.
ZARRA would love a family that goes takes her on road-trips and adventures, letting her explore the sights, smells and sounds the world has to offer. ZARRA does ride good in the car.
ZARRA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $450. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, any transport costs, monthly preventatives, supplements, food and anything else that is needed.
If you feel that you have the heart and home to give this stunning, energetic girl a wonderful life, please go to our website, under the APPLICATION tab, complete, then submit the APPLICATION. This costs $175 which would be in addition to the adoption fee and must be paid direct to the transport company. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls.
