MOMMAS foster mums tells me that sh is a pleasure to care for.
MOMMAS is house-broken and loves to sleep up on the bed when she is allowed. She is great with dogs of all sizes and has been fun and loving with children, small and older kids. She is responsive to the commands "stay", "come" and "down". She is learning the command "sit". She loves to be with humans and will follow her foster mum around. She loves cuddles.
She is very sweet and will make a wonderful dog for a family that has time to share their love, take her on road trips, she loves to ride in the car and let her explore all the world has to offer with them.
MOMMAS will benefit from continued training in basic and advanced obedience. This will help set boundaries, learn expectations and understand her new families personalities, body language and mannerisms as it will help them learn hers too.
MOMMAS is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption of $350
If you would like to start the adoption process, please go to the application and complete, submit the form. Please ensure you tell your references that we will be contacting them. The process generally takes 3-7 days to complete depending on how quickly we are able to communicate with your references.
MOMMAS is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We welcome families to come and visit her, but encourage people to be APPROVED to ADOPT first. We do post in out of state cities to give our dogs maximum exposure in hopes to find them wonderful homes. If you are not able to come up to the rescue in Sebec, we can work together on transport, which generally costs an additional $150 which is paid direct to the transport company.
