DoB: Approx - 11 September 2011
Weight: Approx 65 pounds
DENNY is a stunning white German Shepherd Dog that we have recently saved. He still has a lot of weight to gain and could easily reach around the 90 + pound weight.
DENNY was at first nervous around the other dogs, however, within 24 hours he has taken to bossing them all around. He is a vocal boy, but this is a German Shepherd Dog trait.
DENNY walks good on a leash, he does get excited and jumps up a little, but is easily corrected. He does pay attention and with correct guidance and training he will learn easily. DENNY did have a few accidents in the house when we first brought him home, but has learnt to use the dog door now. I believe DENNY has been badly treated and was an outside dog. He will need some patience and understanding and lots and lots of the love and affection that he has not had much of, if any at all.
It would be advisable to expect DENNY to have a few accidents in the house, but am sure as he has done here, will learn quickly how to let you know he needs to go outside, he will adjust to his new schedule and be an absolute joy to be around.
DENNY as mentioned does need to gain a good amount of weight so he will need a good quality diet, preferably with some good immune support supplements to help his body get into the condition it should be in. DENNY is very affectionate and clearly enjoys having some attention and as mentioned when he is not the one getting the attention, he is quite comfortable in letting me know lol.
DENNY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption donation of $350.
