BYRON was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services on 14th February 2015. He was saved as part of our traditional anniversary saves, in honour of the dogs and pups that we have saved that didn't make it.
BYRON and his brother BENSON had sarcoptic mange and so needed to be isolated, treated and given medicated baths.
BYRON is a confident pup, he is playful, active, of course he has found his voice and he is affectionate, always coming to the crate door to greet me. BYRON uses the puppy pads and loves to play with the squeaky toys. He is looking for a family that has time to teach and guide him through his puppy months, to take him to lots of places and let him taking in all the sights and smells of the world, that will keep his brain active. He needs someone that has an active lifestyle, so that when he gets to around 9 months old and has an abundance of energy, they will understand his needs and be able to provide both the mental and physical exercise and stimulation that he needs.
BYRON is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. He has been on heart-worm prevention since being at the rescue and will need testing when he is around 9-12 months old.
BYRON is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
Our application process and form can be found under the APPLICATION tab.
